[LFP][Trail of Cthulhu]

Hello and thank you for reading this thread! Looking for a Cthulhu game? Wants something with a spins on it? I may have the answer for you. If after reading this blurb you want to learn more click the link below. THINGS DO GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT It's crazed villains intent on nefarious schemes. It's aliens, old and new. It's classic movie monsters come to life and so much more! Think of this game as a merging of Cthulhu, classic monsters, murder mysteries, ancient artifacts, strange aliens, ancient cults and mystery men all rolled into one game. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/90847/trail-of-cthulhu-dark-universe Please note that due to two different reason this is an Americans only game. Sorry. Thank you in advance.
How long do you anticipate each session will run?
My plan is 8:30pm to 11:30pm (Eastern). Some sessions will be shorter but no session will go past midnight (including the end session dissemination of XP etc).
What would you like from us in terms of an application?
[inserts joke about name, DoB, Social Security number, first name of eldest daughter, planet of origin.] [chuckles a little] Honestly, any form you want. Most people will tell the GMs a little bit about their gaming background and/or why they want to play in that particular game. Some will drop a character concept into. The only thing I don't want to see are the silly/stupid questions of "Any room left?" or "Can we use this/that system instead?" 1) anyone can clearly see if there is room left or not because if not the game doesn't show up in search. 2) It's rude to ask for a game system change when the GM has probably chosen that system for a reason and has likely put many hours into prep and if they haven't put any prep into the game I'd be cautious of joining the game because it gives the impression an unprepared GM whom probably won't react well to smart players taking the left turn instead of the right turn the GM planned. I average about 30 hours of prep before I ever put a game up. This particular game has run before and have about 100 hours of prep with 5 readied hand-crafted modules.
Well, due to various circumstances, this game got canceled. I'll be dropping a different game in its slot.
