Hello, I am a veteran Storyteller of the Scion 1st edition and have been thoroughly enjoying what the 2nd Edition of this fabulous system from Onyx Path has to offer. I am interested in running a close-knit game for a total of 3-4 players using the "Origin" and eventually "Hero" levels of play currently available for this game. Brief Synopsis: Scion is a game where you play humans fruited from the union of a god and mortal: you are the children of the gods. While you begin the game unclaimed and unknown, you have always naturally been a cut above your peers. Something finally snaps, whether it be a traumatic event, puberty, or the machinations of another force, and the ichor in your blood thickens and awakens your godly powers. This transformation sets you on the path of heroes as you carry out tasks for your parents and their trusted advisors and sets you on a collision course with a fantastic world of myth and wonder. Levels of play include starting at the "Origin" level, which has the party as humans at a legendary level, but still merely mortal. Eventually, after the ichor thickens, you become "Heroes" fully claimed by your divine parent and gifted with otherworldly aid. Yet unpublished, the next level of play is "Demigod" where your powers continue to grow and you begin to assert your place in realms of myth *beyond* the Earth and its common troubles. Eventually, your journey takes you to the "God" level where you stand shoulder to should with the gods and the titans, asserting your will and shaping the cosmos as you forge your own pantheon and perhaps even sire your next generation of Scions. What I want: 2 to 3 people who are available to play in 3-4 hour stretches once a week, maybe twice if we can all get together. The total party size will be 3 to 4 player characters. I, the Storyguide, am on US Central Time (-5) and we will be basing the session start and end times on my reasonable hours. At this point in time, it would not be possible to have sessions on Mondays or Tuesdays so we would be looking to get together on the other days of the week. Specifics will be agreed upon by the group after it is formed. I welcome players of all skill levels with a willingness to learn a system that is pretty new, although it is only light to moderate in its rules. The group is intended to be 60-70% Roleplay / 30-40% Rollplay and will be set in modern times. Discord is a must, as is fluency in both written and spoken English.
