I have an evil campaign coming up the weekend before Halloween, which would be plenty of time for you to work on understanding your character. There will be plenty of little Session Zeroes before the full group one on the 13th. Also, more than that, the thing that would really work well for you being a beginner is the fact that there will be a mini practice session on the 20th. I call it Prologue: Nightmare, and it's a sort of dreamsequence excuse for us to give our characters one quick test run that's not really 'canon', so to speak. This is an evil campaign, yes, but it's a nuanced evil campaign. I honestly think most people can relate to a sympathetic villain better than a altruistic hero, so what I'm really looking for here is just a story about people with somewhat questionable morals. Perhaps a tad bit more selfish. But they still care, especially about family and all the characters are set up to be siblings of a tyrant father. If you watch Critical Role, I had the idea after Liam's Werewolf oneshot. Except this isn't a oneshot. Anyways, here's the listing: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/130668/heirs-of-house-krovha
