[LFG][Werewolf the Apocalypse] Newbie ST looking for group if there's interest

So, I'm considering putting together a game of Werewolf the Apocalypse (20th) and wanted to see if there was any interest before I get into building the game. Some info to help you decide if you might be interested: Story/Set-Up: Werewolves in the rural, small Southern town have it great. Plenty of woods to run and hunt in, plenty of freedom from fear of hunters in a town where most everyone knows everyone, and the occasional hurricane to spice things up and help clear out some encroachment of the Weaver on the small town. But like many small towns, there are some well known secrets that everyone ignores - until there's reason not to. When strange things start happening, a pack of young werewolves are sent out to investigate. Will this be their chance to gain renown and wisdom? Or will they add their names to the list of victims of these strange phenomena? (Vague as I have a starting point and general overall story arc to work with, but I also want the players to have a hand in what they experience.) About the Storyteller (me): -I've never been a DM/GM/ST before so I need players who can be patient with me and who won't mind growing pains as I learn how to play from this side of the screen. -I can't do voices. If wanted or needed, I could give it a try for the right group, but I can make no promises. -There are four types of players I'd prefer not to deal with while I am so new to being a ST: murder-hobos, rules lawyers, min-max'ers and attention seekers (players who can't share the spotlight). -Given the difficulty of finding what you're looking for in any WoD book, I will generally give a couple seconds to look and if I can't find it I'll make a ruling and move on. If you find I did some thing wrong, got a rule wrong, etc. please feel free to make a list and give it to me at the end when I ask for things I can improve on. I will make sure to go over those things to try to get it right in the future. But I don't want to take away from play just to look for a rule, especially as I will likely forget several things as a new ST.  - I prioritize story and characters.  I don't like combat purely for combat's sake, though being WtA there will be a fair amount of combat. I don't generally do too much focusing on politics in the VtM sense: betrayal, backstabbing, trying to one-up others, etc. If the character is interested in politics, I can work with that, but won't be as good as I'd like with it at first I'm sure. -Any questions about my (anticipated) ST style or the type of game I'm looking to run, please don't hesitate to ask. About the Players: -I'm looking for a laid-back group who can overlook newbie ST mistakes. NEWBIE PLAYERS WELCOME. -I'd be happy to have a group where after this campaign maybe we could take turns GM-ing World of Darkness games. This is completely optional, but if you might be interested this could be a great chance for others who have never been a GM before either. -I prefer players who make characters who are fun to play and fun to interact with, not players solely focused on numbers. (Character>min/max) There's nothing wrong with enjoying playing those kinds of characters, but they are harder to keep a game balanced for from what I've seen. I've played in games where the enemies were too tough for all the group but one. That was boring to play and harder to DM apparently. So please, no min-max'ers. I'm not skilled enough to run a game for that type of player. -Any questions about what kind of players I'm looking for, please don't hesitate to ask!
I'd definitely be interested! I also have a greater interest in characters over their stats, which is why the WoD system has always appealed to me, so hoping this takes off!
Depending on what timezone you're in and what the schedule is like, I may very well be interested in this! I used to play WtA with a group of friends and really enjoyed it. I also think the rural South is a great idea for a WtA setting.  I used to run games myself, so I get what you're saying about murder-hobos and overly min-maxed characters. Please keep me posted on this :)
Hey! i'd love to try my hand in this! Iv'e played VtM Alot and am even currently DMing my own VtM campaign with a couple of close friends! Iv'e never played WtA so it would be nice to see how they play and it would probably help out if i ever plan on adding some lupins into my story ^w^ im a person who prioritizes RP over numbers so you don't need to work about that! And im always Available!
Hi, I'd be interested in joining but can only do the weekends usually unless your in a European timezone.... Mostly beginner with WTA so ok with learning the rules together.
Interested in this, i do not have much experience with werewolf but i would love to give this a try.
I've never played before, but I'd be down! Well, depending on dates and times.
im interested assuming its voice
im interested if you still need players
interested
Depending on the day and time, I'm interested.  I like the idea of a southern setting and I've wanted to try a WtA game for a long time.
I'm a new st two sessions deep in v20, but I want to PLAY. I know very little about werewolf, and would love to learn. I'm available most Mondays and any other day late night central time, except Wednesdays
Old hand at werewolf, played for the last decade or so pretty regularly. If there's still a spot Id be happy to game.
I've played a lot of werewolf (more larp than tabletop) and would be interested in playing.  Largely depends on the day and time of the game.  When is the game to occur?  Thanks!
Hey guys, sorry for the delayed reply. Things got a little hectic this weekend then at work this week. The best times for me would be Fruday evenings or Saturday during the day. I'm in EST. And I imagine running about 4 hours per session. I was also thinking of adding a couple of homebrew things to the game.  With that in mind, is anyone still interested? I have to admit I'm surprised at the response! When I was looking for a group to join as a player there hadn't been much interest it seemed.
Still interested.  Saturday during the day works best for me.

Still interested! Homebrew stuff is all good with me too, yeah! I don't have any preference on time, and 4 hours work for me! Question, though, would there be a session zero focused on character building, or would we be expected to have that stuff ready by the time we start? And would we be doing any one on one sessions focusing on the first change?
I could do between 5-9pm EDT on Friday or on Saturday as long as we finished by 7pm EDT. Looking forward to playing :)
I'm available Fridays only, but would still be interested!
Still interested.  Both days work for me.
Hey guys, sorry again for the delay I've been a little busy. So final decision is that the game will be on Friday evenings and I have 2 of 4 slots left. If this time works for you and you are still interested, I will be doing interviews for these slots tomorrow evening between 8 and 10 pm EST. Please PM me your discord info and possibly a time that works best for you if you have a preference. Sorry to narrow it down so much, but I was not suspecting so much interest in this game!
