Connecting Walls to Floors

While practicing how to make a dungeon map using the tiles, I discovered I could not connect walls to floors without leaving a huge blank spot between the floor and the wall. Tried realigning the walls to the grid but it is the same issue, there is a big blank area between the floor and the wall. What am I doing wrong?

Could you provide a screenshot so we can better understand the problem?
Sorry, but how do you do that? I tried "print screen" and nothing, I cant get image. The best I can describe is that when I place the walls up against the floor, the walls are centered in the middle of the grid square with a large blank area between the floor squares and the wall squares. It seems not possible to have the walls touching the floor.
"Print Screen" is the first step. That copies the screen to your clipboard. Then go into any image program (MS Paint works just fine) and hit "Paste". Then save it as a .jpg file (preferably, I think it's the lowest file size commonly used). Then one of the buttons here lets you insert it as part of your post. This button: And you probably want to hold the ALT button down while you place the walls; that turns off (temporarily) the snap-to-grid function which is making your walls move away from where you want them. -Phnord
Great, I don't think I have any image program in my computer and if i do, I don't know how to use it. What can I say they did not have computer classes when I was in highschool 30 odd years ago. Also tried using the alt button but that does does not seem to work work either. the walls kept bouncing back leaving a blank area. Tried to use a different type of wall that said "exterior" and that seemed to do what I wanted it to do but then when I placed an "interior" wall in the room, the ends disappeared before reaching the outer wall as if it slid under the tile. Im really sorry but there is nothing in the Wiki that seems to address the problems I am having or if it does, I don't recognize it.
