I've poked around awhile and still haven't found this. Is there a way to "lock down" my background map so that I don't accidentally move it around and have it get offset from my grid?
The map should be on the map layer. Anything you're going to be moving around should be on the objects/gm layer depending on if you want it visible or not. Within a layer, there's no non-api method for locking a token though.

Since you're a pro-user you can make use of the Maplock-API <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1660748/script-maplock-provides-individual-graphic-locking-as-well-as-highlighting" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1660748/script-maplock-provides-individual-graphic-locking-as-well-as-highlighting</a>
