NPC rolls being rolled publicly instead of being whispered to GM

So today I was prepping for my next session, and wanted to test an NPC's attack rolls. Oddly enough, I noticed that it was rolled publicly. I didn't remember ever touching it and making the rolls roll publicly, so I opened up the Game Default settings, and saw that it had somehow been changed to have NPC rolls be rolled publicly. I changed it back to Whisper GM mode and figured that would be enough, but figured I'd test it to make sure. I saved the settings, went back to the campaign, and did a roll. Npc rolls are STILL being rolled publicly. I exited the campaign, opened up the settings again to make sure the setting had been saved, and NPC rolls do indeed display as being Whispered to the GM (me). But NPC rolls are still being done publicly. What gives?
Changing the Default Setting in the Game Settings only ensures that characters created after  the change have that setting. In order to update existing  character sheets, you will need to click the Apply Default Settings button from within the Player Settings (inside the VTT -> Chat Window -> right-most tab -> Towards the bottom of the tab under Experimental Features.
