I saw a post made last September saying they were waiting for an early 2018 update. It's now 09/2018, how much longer do we have to wait? Thank you!

In general, the  Roll20  devs will tend to talk about a new upgrade when it's far enough along that it can confidently be said how it's going to work and when it will be approximately released. They do not speculate much further than that because in their experience, things are unpredictable and if it is promised something too far in advance and things change or the schedule changes, people get upset. Nevertheless, I'll go ahead and ping a dev to see what can be found out.
Thank you!
Hi Tarkol, Sorry for the delayed response! XGE and other similar content has many assets that can make use of our Charactermancer feature. However, we have been working on expanding the Charactermancer to include leveling characters as opposed to just making level 1 characters. Our desire is once this feature is complete we can start making sure backlogged content makes its way to the compendium in a properly usable format.
just wishing for a DMG and all the backlog... understandable @drespar personally feel that core rule books should at least be purchasable at present then a small upgrade fee once its worked into the charatermancer but @dev will do what they do and i will just hope im still on roll20 when that happens
