Can't pan the player tab by dragging and dropping - have to pick up the tab and use the directional arrow keys on my keyboard.

A detailed description of the issue. The more information you can give us, the better able we'll be to fix the issue promptly! As the title says, I can't pan through my maps using a drag and drop or scrolling method. I don't know when the issue arose but it's getting really annoying. I've tried all the troubleshooting things and they don't fix it. Step by step instructions on how to reproduce the issue. Log in, enter my current game as DM, try to move players to a different map, am unable to scroll past the 8 or so maps that I can currently see when I open the "page toolbar" unless I use my keyboard which is clunky and slow. Thanks for the detailed report Tom, I'll flag for a dev to drop by... I know I've had inconsistent results in this area myself!

Hi Tom, sorry for the delay! I just wanted to confirm, does this happen in a new game as well as well as in firefox?

Drespar said: Hi Tom, sorry for the delay! I just wanted to confirm, does this happen in a new game as well as well as in firefox? So I tested both. Firefox is even worse than chrome, can't even pan the slider with my keyboard and I just freshly installed firefox, so I don't see what the issue could be there. The console log for firefox looks like this console.trace() v2.js :31:176 n https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :31:176 setup https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :31:5075 add https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :25:16218 E/< https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :24:4282 each https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :24:14946 each https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :24:13603 E https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :24:4264 on https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :25:21294 <anonym> https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/1737061/gioran-planes :1403:1 unreachable code after return statement [Læs mere] gioran-planes :1447 JQMIGRATE: jQuery.fn.bind() is deprecated v2.js :31:127 console.trace() v2.js :31:176 n https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :31:176 bind https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :31:5151 n</n.prototype.choice_build https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :93:20845 e</t.prototype.results_option_build https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :93:4783 n</n.prototype.results_build https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :93:17749 n</n.prototype.set_up_html https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :93:12372 t https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :93:1879 n https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :93:10492 chosen/< https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :93:10434 each https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :24:14946 each https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :24:13603 chosen https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :93:10302 <anonym> https://app.roll20.net/v2/js/browse.js :3:2 h https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :25:8259 r/</d< https://app.roll20.net/assets/v2.js :25:8564 I also tested making a fresh game in chrome, and that didn't work either.
Gotcha, thanks for that info! On that note, I did manage to reproduce this on my end as well! I have submitted a ticket to the devs so we can get the behavior more consistent with dragging pages.

Hi Tom J, As a workaround in the meantime, you can use the Stylus (not Stylish) plug in for your browser. If you are not familiar with the extension, it basically re-interprets some of the CSS (style commands) for the website you are viewing. I use one of these to add multiple rows of pages to my page menu. It's a little tricky to re-order them, but it does put more available on-screen. Install the extension and make a rule called, say, "Multi Row Page Menu", then insert this code: #page-toolbar { height: 270px; } #page-toolbar .container { height: 270px; white-space: normal } #page-toolbar .height { height: 270px!important } This will cause two rows to show on the page menu, reducing the need for scrolling. For every multiple of 130 you use to replace the "270" in that code, you will add another row.

Now I can actually use my scrollwheel to go up and down, speeding the drag and drop process! Thank you! You rule! :D

Glad the workaround works for you, Tom! I'm going to put my mod hat on behind the scenes and close and mark this Resolved, then.
