The Exodus: The Earth passes through the tail of
a rogue comet, All the Big Name heroes and villains on Earth vanish without a
trace or an explaination.
05/16/2018
A killer robot attacks Judgement's garage. Mighty
Girl and Crimson Knight are having diner discussing business at a diner nearby.
Coincidentally it is the same diner where Shockwave works as a waiter. They
rush to the garage and engage the robot. It covers them in a pink dust. While
they wash it off. Paladin does the killing blow. Crimson takes a sample of the
dust for analysis. The press and police arrive. Lt. House (Paranormal Alert
Response Team, P.A.R.T., Commander in Brooklyn)
and Crimson Knight talk. Crimson tells House that this might have been a red
herring to draw out super heroes. Each of the heroes give House some way of
reaching them. Mighty Girl gave her facebook page, Crimson Knight gives House a
radio frequency that he monitors, Shockwave gives his address, while Paladin
gives him the number to a burner phone that he carries.
5/17/2018
At midnight Crimson Knight calls the people from
the diner fight and brings them together. The pink dust that the robot covered
them in was mildly radioactive, not damaging but very traceable, whoever sent
the robot knows where they are and where they have been. He cures himself with
an acid bath, Mighty Girl as well, but suggests that Paladin and the 'bus boy'
wait for the dye to loose its effectiveness in about a weeks time. [Crimson
Knight and Mighty Girl have regeneration and are able to regrow the skin that
was desolved in the acid, cleansing them of the tracking radiation.] CK
examined the blood of each of the diner combatants and discovers that
Shockwave, the bus-boy, is a mutant, a fact that he himself did not know!
Crimson Knight gives Paladin and Shockwave jobs as being personal assistants
(read as Super Heroes). Shockwave texts his girlfriend and Aunt June about his
new job. Aunt June scolds him by saying 'do you know what time it is? Tell me
about it in the morning!' He tells Emily that he is going to be a
security guard at Polygranit. (i.e. Prometheus Medical Tech, Crimson Knight’s
company). Shockwave tells the group that Emily's dad is Mr. Antonev. Mighty
Girl recognizes the name as being a mob boss! Mr. Antonev is the head of a branch
of the Russian Mob and is very dangerous. Crimson Knight gives Paladin and
Shockwave II communicators for use at work.

Shockwave quits his day job and has his
girlfriend drop off cat food to Aunt June (a crazy cat lady). The group
investigates the strip club massacre. CK gets information from Lt. House as to
the names and addresses of the victims. Paladin finds video cameras at other
businesses that look in the direction of the Boom-Boom room (a pawn shop, an
ATM, and a liquor store). Shockwave found a blue tooth camera and the phone
that was paired with it inside the strip club in the DJ’s booth. The DJ was
secretly recording the dancers to add their performances to his personal
collection. The killing happened at 10PM. At 10PM the video shows a group of
animal-like men (or man-like animals) forcing their way into the bar and
immediately start killing people. A bear-like man came in through the back exit
preventing anyone from escaping via that route. An alligator, wolf, and cat
came in through the main doors launching into their killing spree. The
animal-men avoided cutting down the nearly naked dancers. The only other women
in the place were a waitress and a customer. They were killed along with the
men. The five dancers that were not killed were carried away by the animal-men.
Crimson calls his police contact Lt. House informing him about the video
cameras. They are turned over to the police (after copies of the footage was
made) so they could examined and entered into evidence. Crimson Knight then
calls his sister (the computer geek and hacker) to have a computer check done
for flight paths to or from the Boom-Boom room. His call interrupted an
intimate moment she was sharing with a couple of guys that she claimed were
quite expensive and he (Crimson Knight) needed to reimburse her for their fees.
The group then go back to Headquarters to process the data they collected.
5/21/2018
The Crimson Knight, Paladin, and Shockwave were
at the warehouse base brainstorming for ideas on how to find and rescue the
strippers that the animal-men kidnapped. Warning alarms go off alerting the
group that someone is near the warehouse HQ. Checking the cameras they see a
naked girl being chased by a flying bat-like man, a bear-like man, and a robot
that looks identical to the one that attacked Judgement’s garage five days ago.
The three heroes go out and save her, destroy the robot, and capture the
animal-men. CK then tries to determine where the robot flew in from without
success. The girl is taken to the hospital to be treated for various wounds and
multiple sexual assaults. CK gets a blood samples from the Bear, Bat, and the
girl, identified as Cherry Darling, one of the missing strippers. They secure
bear and bat guy and turn them over to PART. The remains of the robot are also
turned over to PART. Crimson Knight removes what he thinks is the hard drive
from the Bot before PART arrives.
5/22/2018
The press first call the PC group the Brooklyn
Brigade.
5/24/2018
The Brooklyn Brigade get a copy of the police
(PART) report. Cherry Darling and the other four girls were abused (raped) by
day but every night during her captivity the animal-men gathered in front of a
video screen (she never saw who or what was on it) to recite some kind of oath.
The voice from the screen would ask 5 times ‘What is the Law?’ Each time the
animal-men would answer differently. The first time they said ‘Father is God,
that is the law!’ The second time ‘We obey Bloodmoon, that is the law!’. Then
‘The Earth must be purified, that is the law!’ ‘Humans must be humbled, that is
the law!’ Finally ‘Those who defy The Law must die! That is the law!’. Then a
robot would take one of the girls and a few of the animal-men and fly into the
area around the warehouse district of Brooklyn. The girls would be released and
the animal-men would hunt her until before dawn. Then they would (easily)
recapture the girl and take them back to the animal-men’s lair. The animal-men
reported to the video monitor that the hunt was satisfying but not successful.
The hunts were supposed to draw the Brooklyn Brigade out of hiding so they
could be killed (and then eaten as the main course in the celebratory feast).
The hunters as a consolation prize got to ravage the bait (the female
captives). After a successful hunt the girls and the members of the Brooklyn
Brigade would be devoured.
5/25/2018
Lt. House contacts the Brooklyn Brigade (Paladin
and Shockwave, CK and Mighty Girl’s players are absent) and tells them that the
interrogation of the animal-men has yielded some interesting information. First
they call themselves the Kindred. Second according to the DNA samples taken
from them at the time of arrest they were once normal humans . Third they have
been taking some form of serum to stabilize their current forms, without it they
are continuing to become the animals that they are pattered off of. Fourth they
have no recollection of their lives as humans and welcome becoming fully
animals. They consider humans a blight on the world and exist to cleanse the
world of mankind! Becoming fully animals is their Father’s reward for good and
obedient service. One of the kindred has a metal plate in his leg. They were
able to track the serial number on that plate to a Sgt. Franklin. He was an
army vet who, because of PTSD, was not able to return civilian life. He became
a homeless person. After he and Shockwave ponder this for a while Paladin calls
Lt. House back. Paladin wants to be given a degree of authority, like being
deputized or something so he can question suspects and try to enforce
compliance. Lt. House can not do that, even if he wanted too, which he does
not. What he can do is give the Brooklyn Brigade the contact information for
Sgt. Franklin's daughter (Marsha who lives in the suburbs) and granddaughter
(Elaine who lives in Queens). Paladin calls
Elaine and leaves her a voicemail message. They want access to Sgt Franklin's
records so they can see where he frequented when he was human. It is their best
idea on finding out who did this to him and the rest of the half-human kindred.
They leave a number for her to call then back. While they are waiting for her
call Shockwave gets a frantic call from his girlfriend Emily, the daughter of
Russian Mob Czar Mr. Antonov. She tells Eden
(Shockwave secret ID name) that her little brother Benny was turned into a
living pile of shit. Paladin and Shockwave (in their secret IDs) go to the
Antonov estate to see what is going on. Benny (the brother) tells Eden
(Shockwave) that he (Benny) had his friends routinely pound some kid named
Stanley Duffy into the ground and steal his stuff. Thinking that what happened
to Benny might be out of revenge they go to speak with Stanley Duffy. During
their chat with the short, overweight, pimple faced teenager they learn he is
responsible but the transformation only lasts a day (24 hours). When they asked
how he did it Stanley
tells them that he ordered a couple things from an ad in a comic book. One was
a packet of Sea Monkeys and the other was a book called ‘Omnipotence for
Dummies’. It was that book that showed him how to get revenge on Benny and
other things but he never expected it to work! Paladin makes a moral argument
that Stanley
should not abuse the power of the book and should give it to him. (When the
heroes examine the book they only see blank pages, only Stanley can see what is written there). While
Paladin is trying to convince Stanley
to surrender the book Eden (Shockwave) orders a pack of Sea Monkeys for himself
(because they are cool) and charges them to Crimson Knight. They give Stanley
an hour to think about what he has done and head back to the Antonov estate
(which is next door) to tell Benny the good news that he will return to normal
soon. Paladin puts the fear of God (or Stanley
the Godlike-entity) while Eden/Shockwave bangs his girlfriend upstairs. Benny
promises to turns over a new leaf and becomes a descent human being. Meanwhile
every attractive woman between the ages of 15 and 25 within a hundred mile
radius of Stanley
have their clothes vanished and are mind controlled not to care. Eden/Shockwave
and Paladin rush to Stanley’s
house where they confront him. Stanley
tells them he will turn over the book but he wanted to have a little fun first,
such as seeing his middle school crush, Clair Acerman, naked before
surrendering the power. She is on her way over at this very moment. Stanley
says it should be okay since he made sure none of the girls would remember when
the effect wore off, they could get their clothes back and everything (after 24
hours). Paladin is able to reason with him and get him to undo the effect
immediately (before he sees his crush even). Among Paladin’s best arguments are
‘just because they don’t remember being violated does not undo the fact that
they were…and YOU did it!’ After Stanley
surrenders the book they give him much praise and promise to teach him how to
defend himself and get into shape. Paladin gives Stanley search a mission, to search through
all his comics and find the ad where he ordered 'Omnipotence for Dummies' so
they can investigate where the book came from.
