Handout, Table, inline roll link not working

I am trying to setup handouts, with a table, containing a link that is an inline roll,  defined  under handouts and it is not working. I would appreciate it if someone could verify my syntax is correct before I report this as a bug. The handout is setup with a inline roll link, !
/w gm [[1d6]]  which from what I have read, and watched on YT, should echo the value of that roll to the chat, but nothing happens, no errors nothing in chat either in the game or when I look at the web page containing all the chats for this game. My handout is pretty simple, see my screen shot, but it is just a 1 row, 2 column table, column 1 is the inline roll and column 2 is a simple description of text. Thanks for any feedback.

The Youtube video was probably outdated. Assuming you are talking about a Journal Command Button (a link in a journal that outputs macro text to chat), the syntax you want is here in the wiki . Be careful of any hints or tips from Youtube or other external sources. Take a look at the date. Some of them are getting old enough to contain outdated or incorrect information and there is no mechanism to correct this. The wiki is usually your best bet.
I will take a look at that link, the YT video was only about 6 months old, but we shall see. Thanks
Yes, replacing the HTML code for the enter (!
) with a backtick (`) seems to have done the job. Thanks for the quick and precise response.

You're welcome! Yeah, the backtick change is only a few months old. It was introduced after the new text editor invalidated the previous approach, which was a sort of emergent behavior anyway.
