Hoping to Generate Interest in a Homebrew D&D 5th Edition (Friday Nights EST) Long Term Seafaring Campaign

I am curious who would be interested in a seafaring campaign I may DM on friday nights? I don't have times specifically just yet as this is just a post to generate potential interest? I would be looking for 8 players. The premise is that the mainland continent has been fully mapped and there is a peace brokered between the various kingdoms. The Mage Council of Brekka discovers a dark evil setting in from the east and informs the King. Now the High King of Brekka wants to send out a contingent of war galleons to sea in search of this evil. If the reports are as damning as they seem, it would mean that this expedition is paramount and of realtime priority. The group will be on one such ship with the Prince of Brekka onboard called the Nexus Tide.

P.S.: Please keep in  mind this game is only for players 18+ and those who can commit long-term (about 6 to 8 months).

Sounds like it could be potentially interesting. The sea isn't a place that tends to see a lot of use.

Webcams are not a requirement, though I, the DM, will be using one for the livestream.
