joined the Covert Ops Force almost right out of college. - The
classic "Field Operative" spy type, Age 29, Speaks English and accented
French. His skills are Pickpocketing, Guns, hand-to-hand combat,
Driving, Charisma, Seduction,and Stealth. RULES: Using a slight variant of the Victory Games, James Bond RPG, but set in Modern day, and not nearly as over-the-top. MISSIONS: The team will be working to prevent and take down Terrorists groups, and International crime cartels, and threats to UK, US, Canada, & Australia, via a fictional unit called the Covert Ops force. Sometimes the team will do the recon and call in a strike force, sometimes the team is all there is. CHARACTER TYPES: Characters will be young to middle aged agents aged 23 to 35 of varying backgrounds, depending on your choices as a player. Mostly college graduates but also foreign languages specialists or any sort of military types. (With a preference for elite forces / commandos) The older your character is, the more they are known and recognized by potential enemies. Young or old is your choice as a player. CHARACTER GENERATION IS A PLAYER CONTROLLED POINT BUY: The system used to start characters is a skill, and attribute based point buy, no random rolling. I can generate your PC if you can give me a description of their capabilities, or you can do it. WHAT KIND OF GAME STYLE WILL IT BE? This will be a narrative style game of Covert operations action in a world slightly more gritty and realistic than the traditional James Bond, not a whole lot of gadgets, but there will be guns, enemy spies, femme fatales, cars, planes etc, but no car-planes or submarine-dirigibles. Again, emphasis on modern day. WHAT KIND OF ADVENTURES? Episodes / Adventures will be a mix of investigation, clue chains, roleplaying, and combat.
