Anyone Wanna Play Star Wars? - Preferably Force And Destiny Or Saga Edition

Hello, I’m interested in finding a group to play, well really, any Star Wars game. I most want to find a group to play the Saga Edition or the Force and Destiny version, but honestly, I’ll play anything so long as I can find a copy of the rules that isn’t too expensive. I’m interested in being GM eventually, so any GMs don’t worry that you’ll have to do it forever. Some notes on my love of Star Wars, so you know if we could get along or not. (I’ve found many people online who, while perfectly lovely, are interested in aspects of the universe I don’t care about, which makes it hard to connect with them, you know?) : I love the Jedi, yes even the prequel era Jedi, though they definitely had flaws. I wouldn’t really be interested in playing a campaign where there’s no Force sensitive characters, or they’re villains. Also I view the GFFA as utterly ridiculous and that’s why I love it, so if you’re going to be overly serious, this probably isn’t for you. Some seriousness is fine, of course, but maybe be willing to be playful too.

I don’t really have a time or day yet, bc I wanted to see what other people’s schedules were like. My schedule is very fluid bc I’m a college student so I have plenty of time to work with (or rather, I don’t, but I can shift what i have to do, homework, etc, around pretty easily.)  Generally weekends and evenings probably work best for me, but again, I can be flexible. Do you guys have any times that work best for you?

Sunday works for me personally. I don’t know how it works for anyone else, but I could work with that,

Any time in the day for Sunday works for me, I am MST timezone

Of course, I want to make it clear that edge of the empire and age of rebellion styl e characters  are welcome too, I just personally like fad most

Wednesdays evenings work best for me around 6PM Pacific

Do you have a galactic time setting for the campaign (like Example 11 ABY new republic Era) 

I'd be up for trying, haven't used either system before though. Mostly a Warhammer player, but my Star Wars love runs deep.

Personally, it would have to be FFG out of the two you mentioned Rachael, as I really dislike Saga. I'm an old school WEG guy, but the FFG version is great. I used to GM the WEG for years. I'd like to play though.

I'm interested depending on the time / day you guys end up picking. I don't wanna throw my availability in the mix, because I'm European and as far as I can tell most of you are Northern America so I'd join if the decided time works out for me.

Yeah I was leaning FFG too, I just thought I’d leave the options open in case anyone really wanted another option. 

If I were to join, it would have to be Saga. FFG is very linear and pigeonholes you into skill trees. I've heard some say it's more "sandbox", but it's really not lol. It's a huge piece of marketing. Please give me a shout out if you ever run a Saga game.

Hey I’ve been looking for game from the ffg series ever since I ran a campaign with my friends locally. I’m fairly busy most nights but I’d its a Tuesday or a Saturday evening count me interested. I have books and dice and I know the system so let me know if you need any help!

It’s looking like a lot of people can do weekday evenings, so that might be a good option. of course, we likely can’t make it work for everyone, but I’d like a number of people to find a good day for them.

I'd also be interested in a good Star Wars game...though I freely admit Star Wars means different things to different folks :) 

I am interested as well. I love the FFG star wars game. not sure if Y'all are still looking for players. figured it would be worth checking into. Either count me in if You like. If not thanks for the read.

+I'd also like to join, but I have never actually played any of these so I might need a little guidance. I do have a good understanding of the lore though, specifically the force and jedi/sith factions. I would prefer weekends between 10am - 10pm, but weekdays could work also.
