Currently you can only set inline dice rolls to count 1 success when a specific number or higher is rolled. Example: 5d6>4cs will give +1 for each roll of 4 or higher. There are a number of dice pool systems (Wrath & Glory, Exalted, WoD, Forbidden Lands, etc) that grant +1 success if your roll within a particular range or +2 if you roll within another range. Some systems grant more successes on higher ranges - Forbidden Lands goes as high as +4 successes on a 12 rolled on a d12. Example - Wrath & Glory - if you roll a 4 or 5 on a d6 you get +1 success, if you roll a 6 you get +2 successes. In Forbidden Lands you can roll a pool of different dice. On a roll of 6 to 7 you get +1 Success, 8 to 9 you get +2 successes, 10 to 11 you get +3 successes, on a 12 you get +4 successes. In Exalted you get a success on a 7 to 9 but you get 2 successes on a 10; exalted further has specific rolls where you can get 2 successes on a 9-10, 8-10, 7-10. I could see something like the following examples: 1d6>4cs1>6cs2 = +1 on 4 or 5; +2 on 6 1d6<1cs-1>6cs1 = -1 on a 1; +1 on a 6 1d10>7cs1>9cs2 = +1 on 7 or 8; +2 on 9 or 10 1d12>6cs1>8cs2>10cs3>12cs4 = +1 on a 6 or 7; +2 on 8 or 9; +3 on 10 or 11; +4 on 12 I did see similar threads in the past - all of those 2 years or older and focused on a broader scope of dice pools - which I would like to see improved as well but would be quite satisfied with the above minimal product.
