@{attribute|max} not working when testing ability.

Chrome, Win 10 When using the shorthand @{attribute|max} in an ability, the ability will through an error "no character was found for 'attribute'" when testing the ability in edit-mode. If you end the edit-mode and run the ability from the "roll ability" button, it works as intended.

When using the max syntax you must specify a character.

Not in an ability when calling an attribute of the same character. Edit: Or is the bug that it works for me? Then please call it a feature and disregard this thread.

Ah, sorry, had misread your post. Yes, there are some differences in how abilities work between edit mode and regular mode. That is a bug.

I have made sure to submit a ticket for the dev team. I believe this is similar to other issues with macros I have seen so I have tried to call on those where appropriate as well. Sorry for the trouble!
