Looking for players for Axis and Allies

I made a version of the axis and allies board game and am looking for a casual group of players.  Please respond / PM if interested or have any questions EDIT: we have had several play-through's at this point, and the game has really gotten well defined.  we use V/C through discord, have dice macros set up, and many tokens for a variety of units.  If you have never played before, no problem...we are happy to teach you. (think of it as a cross between Risk, and Warhammer)  its a game that is simple enough to be picked up fast,but complex enough to stay interesting for years!  Hope to see you

well I have had a few playtests so far with a few friends...and it is really coming along.  It works just like the board game with tokens and dice rolls...the entire game board is the map....we use the initiative tracker to keep track of cash, and use roll macros.  I will send you a PM with one of the game copies...feel free to move things around and play with it

This sounds very interesting would be interested in checking it out. I never played the game myself. Not familiar with it sounds like it'd be similar to Risk? I have no idea so don't scold me if that's not correct.

No, Risk is a fair comparison (I have always thought that)...axis and allies is much more detailed than risk but the core strategies are similar.  think of it as a cross between the simplicity of risk and the complexity of something like warhammer with different units having different abilities.   I have no problem at all teaching people how to play if they are interested.  

Okay sounds pretty interesting i'd be pretty interested in learning and seeing how it plays.

if you want to play it on a sunday i'll be down. I work overnights so I wont be available for most of the week from like 3-10 but sundays im off so time isn't as much of a factor for me. -6gmt for me.

This game is lots of fun, but it can be slow. Expect a full game to last a couple days. WELL worth the time! (I beat Mike 2 out of 3 games so far! Neener Neener Mike!)
