GM Merc

Experienced Mercenary GM. The first game is free. $15 a session (per player) on PayPal, Facebook or Patreon to cover expenses. Will negotiate price. Any group any game! Time flexible. Will teach beginners. Email TravisCole@sparkpulp.com if you have any questions my discord handle is Sparkpulp$073. Paying prevents the lineup of 400 applicants. The listed number of applicants is irrelevant I can run with any number. I am a GM with over twenty years of experience. I enjoy giving PCs a real living world for them to inhabit. I will use modules but most of the game is free form so PCs feel like they have agency and matter in the world. I am a professional as such I will respond immediately. I have run every imaginable game from D&D, Vampire, Savage Worlds, Rifts, 7th sea, l5r, Shadowrun, Firefly, Marvel, Star Wars and I am willing to run games I have never run before. In my games I don’t sweat the small stuff. My goal as a GM is to make the PCs are ones having fun. My Patreon https://www.patreon.com/sparkpulp My Facebook www.facebook.com/sparkpulp In my free time I write wacky Sci-Fi. www.sparkpulp.com This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of < to be filled with a description of your method, amount, and frequency of payment >. Quick someone get me a mop to clean up this guys shit.
It took you three tries but you finally got a sentence right. 1 out of 3.
Why thank you.
I take it back you only made one correct sentence and I corrected it for again. Connor C. said: Quick someone get me a mop to clean up this guys shit?

This vitriol is nothing but caustic. I'll remember you Sparkpulp Gaming and this behavior. Let me get this right, they take passive aggressive comments and I correct them somehow I'm caustic?
You know what I didn't start this fire I just poured a whole lot of fuel on it.
This does nothing but increase page views.
And show off your asinine behavior. so congratulations sir or mam if that was your goal you achieved it with flying colors.
You really hate being corrected. You should work on that.
I don't hate it when it is done correctly.
Your saying you didn't make those mistakes? All 12 of them? Cfox99 said: I don't hate it when it is done correctly.
Stop quoting me.
That is not a request that is a demand.

Oh ha ha ha you sir have now entered the realm of ridiculousness.
I'd rather have a GM that knows how deal with bad players.
No such thing as bad publicity and not all customers are worth keeping.
Very true sir.
And I would rather have a GM with a good sense of humor than one who is stuck up.
Yeah'p this ones on fire hey cfox lol? It was/is an entertaining show. I just nearly pointed out the irony of expecting money and at the same token trashing on the system anyone who is interested in playing a Paladium game and actually paying a g.m. for it likely isn't going to feel confident about paying money for it if the g.m. doesn't like the system. It'd clearly sour the experience they paid for.

Incomplete sentences my whatever would your grammar teacher say?
This flame was almost worth 5$ to me... So sad that people argue over the dumbest of things. With that said, I've a challenge to put to you Sparkpulp, and it follows thusly: Run a F.A.T.A.L. game with 4 players and have them enjoy the session. Do that and I'll donate 50$ to you upon completion and provided evidence.
Strange, I've been running a RIFTS game for 2 years, and my co-GM has been running multiple games on Roll20 since 2014. And neither of us lack for player interest. For a free game. Y'know, like most of us played long before digital options came about. $15 a session? BUAHAHAHAHAHAHA No gamer I've *ever* met in my nearly 30 years of playing & running PB games, would be willing to pay $60 a month to play in someone's game.

BUAHAHAHAHAHAHA No gamer I've *ever* met in my nearly 30 years of playing & running PB games, would be willing to pay $60 a month to play in someone's game. Free games in fact have so many of free games have more than 40 applicants which is why GMs can charge at all. Lastly modules are $50 each and the costs keep going up. I go through roll20 every day, you can verify my claims.
I wouldn't know about modules, since the game system whose forum you've posted in, doesnt have any. As I said, my friend & I along with my BIL have no problem running free games. PB as well as other systems. If someone has 40 applicants, the GM is probably pretty good. And huzzah to you if you're that good that people are falling over themselves to be in your games. But for most adult gamers, up to $60 a month (or more if in multiple games) isn't feasible. There's a reason we're gaming over the Net versus our kitchen/basement/FLGS. Adulting limits time, space, & money for most of us. Maybe gamers in other systems are different; more willing to Pay to Play. Just not the Palladium players I've encountered over the past 30 years.

Personally, i have no issues paying to play in a session. Buying artwork, tokens, syrinscape soundpacks and even rpg modules n books does cost money. I have often brought or mailed gms rulebooks because they ran on the rule of if I dont own it I can't review it to use it. Different rules for different people. Honestly I love roleplaying and it would be a pretty cool dream to get paid $90 a few times a week to run some sessions. And a cool gm is worth some appreciation. I mean i usualy bribe my gms with food, books, dice, scenary, minis or similar. And I have shamelessly bribed gms with $10 & $20 on occasion too. Usually to prank and troll another player but hey- all in good fun. Gms invest a lot of work, materials, time and cash to run a game. They don't have to but usually do it because they love too. But if i am happy to suscribe to a twitch stream so i can cackle and laugh whilst a favorite crew runs a session, why not simply bribe a gm to be my gm instead? I do think some of the posts here in this thread are a but much. You would think the gms at least understand why someone might ask for cash. And at $15 a player, it's cheaper than a movie and lasts twice as long. Sorr for the typos, postng on my phone. If you get a group Spark, I'd like to try out a session if it's a cool timeslot. I'm an aussie so timeslots are a reversed pain usually. I also do dnd/pf & shadowrun.
You should all know that this idiotic discussion is the reason I left this group. Some people prefer to be paid for their work, others prefer to do it for free. It may not be a smart choice on their end to ask for payment as far as recruitment practices go, but it is their decision to make. Rather than argue about it, make a free one if it irks you so much.
