Invisible Player Character tokens

I tried searching the forums and didn't see this posted, if I missed it, my apologies. Is there a way to have a player's token be invisible to other players, but still visible to that player? Sort of like a player only layer? Perhaps two options could be included in the token settings: Invisible:  This option hides the token from all players except the controlling player and the GM. Additionally, when the GM chooses to view as token (Ctrl + L), all invisible tokens would disappear as well. See Invisible: This option would allow the specific token to see invisible tokens. So a player could toggle this option on / off if they have any special senses that would allow them to see through invisibility.
In the meantime, you can use a transparent .png file for the character's token, and give it a 5 foot aura that only the player and GM can see. Then the player can see and move his token without having to bug you, and other players do not see where the invisible character is.
