40k Only War, LFP(EST)

LINK As of yet, this will be for regiment and squadmaking. The campaign will be less jarring if the content is tailored to the regiment and squad. Date as placeholder, game dates TBD. Also looking for input from other folks experienced in GMing the system. -------------------------------------------- Source: Core, Enemies of the Imperium, Hammer of the Emperor. Time: Evening, EST. Disclaimers: *Pre-canned or squad applicable scenario *Newer GM *Mic is broken. I type faster than most native english speakers, but it could be an issue for some. *Taking input and questions. Important Info: *Veterans preferred to make up for my own inexperience GMing. Help eachother out if possible? *Good bookkeeping is essential; I can help you out with that. *Regiment creation is rolled ingame by player consensus. I have a strong preference against mixed regiments. *600xp to start, 400 for specialists *Character creation is rolled ingame during "off" times; planning is part of the fun, right? :) *+5 to a specialization specific characteristic at 2500XP, or option to switch specializations for guards(Not support specialists) *"Formation" system for unit level(3-10 enemies) combat. Targetting of specific actors within a formation is only possible via called shots. Don't underestimate that +40BS orc gang just because they make one roll- degrees of success matter for dakka-dakka. *Comrades(Mechanic: "multiple comrade rules") for players cooperating with NPCs in larger engagements.
Tentatively aiming for Sunday Afternoons, we have 1-2 potential euro players. (Is it better to edit, or post replies for updates?)
Post replies
Sounds solid, sunday is a good time for me, too. I'm not all too familiar with OW, more with BC, DH and RT, but the system looks simple and familiar enough from flipping through the rules. Hit me up if you need blokes.
