The modern nights in London have become strange, Queen Anne is seemingly gone. The Elders of London have left on a great crusade into the middle east taking with them their most favored children, leaving a Camerilla that is ripe for new opportunity. Sitting on throne is a strange Prince, The Camerilla is run strangely and the city as little to no Kindred. The Anarch's do as they wish seemingly unopposed, preaching freedom. The nights are prowled by more than Kindred, a palpable sense of madness and confusion suffuses the city. Kine go about their lives working, sleeping and loving in ignorance. Government becomes more oppressive as the days go by stifling expression and thought in equal measure. Only the most jaded Garou occupy the city, their plans and motives are their own. The Fae dance in the day and cry in the night, unable to break their link to the British Isles, these creatures try to exert some form of influence of the wider supernatural community. A King and Queen weep in mourning at the kidnap and subsequent embrace of their only daughter, how long can grief keep the vengeance away? In the British Museum something old stirs, stolen from its home the great sleep can only hold it for so long. Mages feel the chaos and turn to books for salvation and direction, yet the hedge mages know only actions will truly save this Isle from supernatural chaos. London needs to be reformed, rebuilt and ruled. I am looking for 1-2 more mature players, experience is not necessary. Style of role play: This game is a social one, there are two main aspects to it: Firstly there is the main plot, taking London and rebuilding it politically, socially and in terms of rule. The reestablishment of the Clans and solidifying the Kindred's place in the super natural world. Second is personal story, as your character interacts with the world they will develop their own personal story. This is purely for the player to explore what is to be that character and can be shared with the others or hidden from them. London by Night is a mature game, by this I mean there will be themes of evil, abuse, hedonism. As well as love, friendship and victory. Though it is a World of Darkness the players could drag it into the light. Expect everything from bloody tense violence to true love. Roleplay not Roll play: Think of the game like a T.V show, the mechanics of the game are merely a framework to enable actions. Consider the little things, what do you wear. How do you talk, can you dance etc. Characters : New characters will be Kindred from outside London, we are using V20 rules and any source books are allowed. I am open to unusual Clans and blood lines. Consider the age of your Kindred in terms of years and what they have experienced, what kind of person are they? To this end new players will get an introduction game, a 1 on 1 session with me to introduce their character to London and give them a chance to see how their character feels. Coterie: Players would be wise to work together, London is a beast. Work together or die alone. White Wolf Cannon: Leave it at the door, this is a world that we create together. About me as a ST: I'm far and away not a perfect ST but I will devote time to your game and your experience. Three strikes and you are out. Role playing is a community pursuit, life happens however.
