[LFP] Pathfinder Survival Horror (negotiably Sundays @ noon CST)

Edited 1541360692
You know the story. When you see a dangerous beast, you heroically run toward it, and savor every last drop of the experience. You're unflappable. Nothing can beat you. That story has ended. Those days are over. In this world, if you're going to confront that which goes bump in the night, you need to be - ABSOLUTELY - sure you can handle it. Sometimes, the only way to win is to survive. Coming soon to a Discord channel near you. To apply, respond to this post with the following information. Age bracket: ("drinking age", "30's", or "been around") Why you're interested: What experience you have in tabletop RPG's: Anything you want to add. (Sorry for the repost, I wanted to edit the post title and add more information. I deleted the old post.)
We will be using several decks for this game, including Critical, Fumble, and Chase decks.
No experience necessary. Willing to teach.
1 - Late 20s 2 - Always been interested to see how pathfinder compares to D&D and a big fan of horror themed campaigns. Like the idea that character could potentially be outmatched by a lot of enemies encountered and would be interested to see how this forces players to adapt play style. 3 - Have a lot of experience with D&D 5e and own  the Pathfinder Beginner's Box and Core Rule Book which have read most of and had a coupe of games with the scenario included in box with a few friends who were new to tabletop gaming. Also recently picked up Investigators Handbook and Gamemasters Guide for Call of Cthulhu and was halfway through a game before group I used to play with had to stop due to moving away. 4 - Really like the idea of every encounter being life or death, sometimes find the tension can be taken out of the game a bit when you know the majority of the time characters are wiping out half the enemies in a single turn. Am a real fan of horror in general and believe when done right can be some of the best stories in any medium.
1. Old enough to know better, young enough to do it anyway 2. Between games at the moment and this sounds like a Hardcore Difficulty game, something I dig! 3. Tons! Been playing pathfinder since it came out, 3.5 before that, and threw in some Shadowrun, White Wolf, Rifts, and a bunch of others 4. I like roleplaying the hell out of powerful characters that fill an empty niche in the party makeup. I'm also a big fan of DM's going 'Off the books' for monsters and magic items, making up cool junk to throw into the game. And my biggest most favoritist thing is to be given the opportunity to think outside the box for results.
Awesome, Puptart, DM me your Discord ID and I'll shoot call you for an interview if that's okay. :-)
