Looking for
a Shadowrun game. Would prefer 5E, but am OK with 4E. Never cracked a 3 and
lower edition books open, so will pass on the older variants of the system.
I'm an experienced
roleplayer, who had some trouble finding himself a SR game lately. Two did not
start. One went on for a whopping 1 session, after which the GM bailed on us.
As far as
group roles go, I'm OK with playing any type of character.
Some of my previous
characters:
4E - 1) A
heavy weapon "commander" troll with an LMG and a high Tactics and
Command dice pools, former military, who had some trouble with Humanis, runs
the shadows, because wants to stick it to the Man; 2) An elven albino black magician,
highly impulsive, egoistic and too overconfident (and very, and I mean VERY,
poorly built... most of his point went into anything and everything, except
actual spell casting), runs the shadows for money to support his extremely
lavish lifestyle.
5E - 3) A Japanese
man, born into a Yakuza family, was a terrible brat until an abduction, during
which he was severely wounded... escaped JIS and runs the shadows as an
infiltration specialist, relying on stealth and impersonation, runs the shadow
because he wants a roof over his head and food in his plate... and to hide from
his dad; 4) Russian decker, who used to work for the Vory, until his younger
brother was shot and left paraplegic during a gang war, runs the shadows to
support his brother and nephew and tries to save op for his brothers extremely expensive
surgery.
