We are looking for 1-2 players that are looking to join a long term DND session. Sadly, two players have had to drop out for personal reasons and we are looking to replace them. We currently have 4 players and I am willing to go up to 6 total. If it matters to you, currently we have - - A warforge druid (Moon) - A half orc wizard (Divination/Conjuration) - A human palidan (Oath) - A half-elf bard (Swords) Though, things you need to know about the session. 1. We are using the Eberron maps but the lore homebrew with a few hints from Eberron lore dabbled in. 2. You will be required to have a discord. We use that for a LOT of stuff. There are between the sessions in character interactions, places for character images, item images/details, special character channels, session zero information (That can be added to if need be) and it is where we host the calls for the sessions. 3. Video is appreciated, though not required. I, as the DM simply require it because of how I tell stories. 4. This session is not looking for evil characters and all evil characters will be turned away. Neutral characters are accepted. 5. You have to be on top of your character sheet. I will not take time out of the start of the session for you to level your character. It's just not going to happen. I put too much work into this story and the prep that I do, and it's disrespectful to me and the fellow players that we have to wait for you to do something when there was a week to do so. 6. I work on the 3 strikes you are out system. If there is a problem and you are the cause, I will remove you from the party after I speak with you about the issue. 7. This is a LONG term game. There will be encounters of every kind down the road. Political, combat, social, city, wilds - you name it. That aside, I'm going to ask a few questions to help weed out applicants. Application questions!! 1. What is your opinion on splitting the party? 2. Is there anything that you DO NOT want to see in a DND session? Aka, what are your hard No's in a session. (Examples - brutal murder descriptions) 3. What kind of character would you like to play? Note, I do allow overlaps in classes. So long as arch types are different, it's even better. 4. Kind of an obvious one - Is Thrusday 6pm - 12pm EST alright with you? We don't always end at 12, more often around 11, but we try to be done by then. 5. What's your proffered % of split interactions? Roleplay, Exploration, Combat. 6. How old are you and how long have you played D&D? 7. Do you roleplay in your characters voice? 8. Why do you play D&D? What do you enjoy the most? 9. Your character (From the earlier question) needs a book in the possession of a local baron in order to save the life of a dear friend, and you need it within one hour. How do you get that book? 10. What first got you interested in TTRPGs or D&D specifically? 11. What is your favorite moment as a player that occurred in D&D? 12. What is something that you disliked in a previous D&D game? 13. How likely are you to participate in roleplaying opportunities outside of sessions? 14. Have you ever had a problem with another player? How did you handle it? 15. How would you handle a situation where the DM makes a ruling a ruling you disagree with in the moment? 16. What is your favorite game? The selection process will start around 11/19 in the early morning. Though, will be finalized by 11/21.
