The following wording for Giant Spider bite attack is not correct: "   Hit:  (1d8 + 3) piercing damage plus (2d8)poison damage. The target must make a dc on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one  "

Thanks Duane, I have copied your post to the thread dedicated to reports on older WotC content (in this case, the Monster Manual). It should be seen by a dev there and corrected soon. Thanks for the report!
