Bored GM looking for something to do.

Looking to do something new, need to occupy some of the way-too-much time I have on my hands. So if you need a GM for something, let me know, I may be interested. I'm open just about all the time, but I run a Vampire: the Requiem game on Sundays 12-6 CST. I'm familiar with lots of systems, and I'm a pretty quick study for systems I don't know. Look forward to talking to you.

Do you GM pathfinder? I'm looking for a pathfinder campaign that can run late nights 9pm Pacific time or later as my evening work schedule makes it hard for me to find games....
I don't suppose you'd be interested in GMing a Shadowrun game at all?
Any interest in or experience with Apocalypse World?
www.d20herosrd.com Yay super heroes!
Late nights don't work for me. I could be down for a Shadowrun game. My Skype is idbowen if you can share more info. What's Apocolypse World? I could also be interested in a superheroes game too, but I'm guessing you don't do Skype.
Apocalypse World is an awesome system with post-apocalypse setting (very general) focusing more on characters and narrative systems, important part of the character creation is to set the relationships between the characters itself. Nice little game. And I would be interested in some kind of game.
Pretty much as Karasu explained, simple story driven game mechanics. Roll 2d6 plus base modifer, 10+ success, 7-9 there is a catch in your plan, 6- something happens that you are probably not going to like. The basis that several other story games have been built upon (Dungeon World for example).
I'm thinking of merging all of these ideas together to run a post-apocolyptic cyberpunk World of Darkness. Dunno yet. Anybody's welcome to Skype me if they want to pitch an idea at me. Skype is idbowen - I do audio chat, not text.

wow. that sounds like a really ambitious... and awkward... mashup. in fact, those three settings seems pretty much guaranteed broken. Shadowrun: the wired world meets the magic world. WoD: all the scary monsters under the bed are actually real. Post Apoc: BOOM they broke everything. ok so shadowrun could totally work with WoD; odd, but hey, if dragons can run a corp, why couldn't ghosts or vampires. basically just playing shadowrun with a stronger emphasis on the occult than the tech.. WoD could totally work with Post Apoc.. the right type of apocalypse can even explain how we went from 'this' world to WoD.. Post Apoc and Shadowrun; this... kinda requires a major rebuilding of the whole Shadowrun deal, no? the whole concept of post apocalyptic is that the world got blown half-way back to the stone-age right? the matrix.. is gone.. cyberwear.. only the really basic sturdy stuff would survive. maybe a limb here or there, "Rusty's noisy old foot that always seizes up on him just at the worst time... how'd ya think he got that name anyway?".. the magic could still work.. and i guess the corps would just be running literal city-states instead of just being major powers among them.. still, "cyberpunk" is all about the cyber, right? *cough* er, anyway... enough "peeing on the parade"...*ehem* anyway, if you wanna run a shadowrun/cyberpunk game (without the mashups) i'd love to get involved in that. drop me a line on here, and we'll figure it out. i have skype, and i don't mind voice chat for gaming, i just don't do it for regular chat. (several years of working in a call center, and somehow chatting on the 'phone' loses its appeal lol) i'm PST, available weekends, and weekday evenings mon and tues.
You've probably already decided to run Shadowrun, but just incase I'm going to try and sway you in another direction. I've been looking everywhere for a D&D 4e Dark Sun game and they are just really hard to come by. It would be interesting if we were evil/unaligned players in the service of a sorcerer-king (perhaps Hamanu of the city-state of Urik). We would carry out his will and root out and perhaps exterminate secret Veiled Alliance cells, put down a slave rebellion, whatever is demanded of us. Being good is just too cliche and has been done to death!

It could easily operate on much the same premise as Appleseed (or even Mega City One, though they obviously offer very different interpretations) with 2 or 3 major high density cities on Earth and everything else a wasteland of one type or another. Would be cool for offering plenty of diversity in the play environment tbh.
hm, good call, Vesavius.. too much 'hollywood' in my brain at the moment; all i could think of was the "mad max" style, where -everything- is gone, and everyone is living practically at a wastelands level, with various bits of scrap tech
Scott D, you lost me in the first sentence. Christian R, if I run fantasy, it's going to be Exalted 3 when it comes out soon. Actually guys, I've decided on a cyberpunk dystopian scifi run in the Apocolypse World ruleset. Thanks for your comments.
And Scott D: I didn't say I was necessarily mashing up three settings. That was inferred, not implied. In the system I'm running, there's no "magic" excluding some high sci-fi tech powers. WoD is more than a setting, it's a rule set, run in the Storytelling style. I had no intentions of adding anything supernatural, though perhaps occult, yes. I find your pre-conceptions unimaginative and arbitrary. Cyberpunk is about cyberpunk. I wouldn't be in the slightest bit interested in having you as a player, in any universe, under any circumstances. Have a wonderful day.
I don't know what you guys are going to play, But I'm willing to learn anything, and I'm probably going to be bored tonight
Ian I would love it if you can DM a game of Pathfinder our old DM left we are LvL 2 PC my skype is john.dimieri
I was simply being honest and direct with you, Scott. No need to waste both our time doing otherwise.
Ian, if you're down to GM a game that might or might not happen/might or might not become a regular thing, then look at this. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/716641/lets-start-up-a-group-lfp-looking-for-players-and-g-dot-m#post-716641
