Note: This is a survival horror game that has a stronger
element of risk and death. It's not as light hearted as a standard masks
game, nor is is it as grimdark as normal survival horror. Please be
aware going in that death is a possibility, but that just makes the
victories and triumphs that much sweeter.
Apocalyptica:
Quick synopsis: Something is changing much of the world into
flesh eating zombies and many others into superhero powered
beings.
Game type voice. Cooperative Storytelling. Everyone will get a chance to share in the spotlight.
Premise:50% of the world's population of adolescents are
turned into super powered beings, and roughly 90% of those become
mindless zombies...though only a few keep their super powers in their
zombie state.
Game time : Sundays 7:00 - 11:00 AM EST Every week,(edited)
General plot : Waking Dead meet Heroes. Zombies and powers all appear at the same time
Limitation: Any powers that lets you totally flee danger or
scenes: Long distance instant travel powers such as light speed or
portals, total invulnerability. long distance flight or anything else
that lets you disregard the threats of the zombies. The Doomed's
sanctuary gets the additional weakness that the undead are drawn towards
it wants to destroy it
The mission: Discover the source of the change and fix the work, if possible, to what it was.
General World Structure: The world runs in typical masks
campaign until the underneath take over, then society begins to very
quickly break down. The main rule of society now is that the strong rule
and the weak serve.The gangs will focus on survival horror. Most of the
groups you encounter well be either rich and famous, the ex-cons and
gang member...people who were comfortable using their abilities to take
control of their patch or territory and are willing to use members to
punish their own and to extended punishment to the rest of the world in
order to get what they want. The rough split between powered and the
toughest of the humans is about 80/20. The strongest of the normals
could give the weakest of the empowered a run for their money.
No banned playbooks, but as above movement/escape abilities will be limited.
