[LFP]Star Wars: Edge of the Empire

General In lieu of my VtM game fettering out due to people being suddenly called away, I've decided to change gears and go with something a little different. Edge of the Empire is one of the games I have the most experience playing, but next to none GMing. It's been a long while since I've done either though and felt it would be nice to revisit the setting. I'm always open to broadening my horizon with Tabletop, so I figured I would go with something I've always loved in an effort to do so. With that out of the way, welcome to and Edge of the Empire interest check! GMing Style As I said above I'm fairly new to GMing in this system. It will probably take me a good minute to wrap my head around all the mechanics and subtle nuances. For that reason I'm going to run a short published adventure as an introduction for the Player Characters. It should take two or three sessions to complete, then we'll open it up to a more sandbox style of play. I'm very much a sandbox kind of guy. I let player choice rule the story. Whatever adventures we end up will ultimately be up to you all. Within that though comes a big dependence on theater of mind. I don't use maps or tokens simply because I run such an open style game. I care a lot more about convincing storytelling and narrative than system mechanics, so sometimes those rules may be bent to better facilitate the story. Some people are able to cope with these things, others aren't. If you can I'm glad to have you! Rundown Day of the Week: Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. Time: 6 or 7PM Central Standard Time. Format: Discord, Roll20. Other Notes: Active use of Discord is mandatory. I've seen two games fall apart this week alone simply because half the players were logging on to Discord daily to discuss and plan things, and the others weren't. This will be Text-Based, not Video or Voice. Some people have a big problem with that, but I've seen a lot of new players shy away from games because they weren't ready for that yet. Hey, my friend I have been looking for a Star Wars game to play. Are you accepting two players that are big star wars fans, but not really familiar with any of the star wars tabletop games specifically?&nbsp;

I'm interested and already have Discord installed and setup.&nbsp; Text chat exclusively through Discord is fine by me.&nbsp; I'm interested in starting at the beginning level so this is a good fit.&nbsp; I'm located in the Eastern United States so this will not be much of a time adjustment. I also own the EotE Core book and a few of the splats.

I'd be interested. But I can't do Sundays. Monday and Tuesdays I can do. I use Discord constantly, I actually DM my own games as well so keeping up on what's going on is always a priority for me.

If you still have room I'd like to play, I'm a huge fan of Star Wars and the times listed work very well with my current schedule. I'm fine with text-based games and have discord, I'm a bit rusty with the system (only played a couple times a few years ago) but I'm sure I'll get into the swing of it real fast.
