So, I've been GM'ing since 5e came out in pre-release at local game stores. I've only tried the gritty realism variant rules (From the DMG: pages 288-289 i think) once when I was new GM. My question: How many people would be interested in a low-magic campaign setting, where you run using the "Gritty Realism" rules variant? 8hrs is a short rest 1 week is a long rest Wizards only learn 1 spell per level, and clerics/druids/paladins unlock their spells at the rate wizards would normally. You don't just become lvl 3 and suddenly have access to all the lvl 2 spells essentially. You have to pick which ones your diety grants you finally. There would also not be other homebrews, but this is the biggest "Hrmm" factor. I like experimenting with things, so this is my "Interest check".
