A call goes out to all gamemasters, masters of dungeons, and storytellers... A humble soul prays for a hero to pick up the fallen torch and take on the task of GMing RuneQuest. Hello folks. My friends and I had great luck when I made our last post looking for a D&D GM on these forums so I thought I'd give this one a shot too, now that that campaign is well and truly underway. I've GM'd RuneQuest a couple of times in the past for short spurts and I've had the privilege of playing with some really good GMs that just aren't in the business anymore. Given that this system suits my personal playstyle so well, I'm now hoping to find someone to add to my little circle of friends who would be willing to run me through a medieval romp using the system. I would prefer a solo game for solo depth but if it's something that's going to keep the game from happening, I can probably bring in a friend or two on this game as well. A lot of us have similar tastes and styles, we just play different archetypes. What I hope for in a GM: A good attitude At least 18 (I'm getting old and looking for basic stability) Doesn't disappear in the middle of the first session (had this happen to a friend and I recently on Roll20, happens a lot apparently) Experience is less-than-essential, I like to think I'm pretty patient and happy to help What I hope to bring: I like to think I have a good attitude by default, but I will definitely want to speak to you beforehand to ensure we meld A sense of humor My attention and interest (I get invested) Good dialogue and a focus on immersion/strategy Availability: Weekday evenings after 6pm, except Wednesday, weekends open. I'm in the eastern USA (GMT-4/5) Preferred Comms Method: Discord or Teamspeak. Skype if we must :) . So, realistically I think RQ GMs are somewhat rare but I'm going to hold my vigil, perhaps in vain. I'm not hard on many requirements, just looking to have a good time and make sure everyone else is. I really like character development and place a heavy emphasis on backstory/interaction. So don't expect a murder-hobo ;) (though let's be honest, nothing compares to a good sword fight). If you have questions, or wish to express interest please don't be shy. Even a statement of support would help :) . I've found few systems I enjoy as much as this one, yet it's easily the most difficult to find and keep a GM for. It's been a few years of trying, so we'll see how this goes!
