New DnD5e Player LFG

Hello. I stumbled across this site and wanted to give it a go. I have one game under my belt and interested in playing and learning more and I am looking for a regular group that would be willing to be patient and teach a new player.  Some possible questions that may come up based on my experience so far: My play time would mostly be weekends, or super early morning EST during the week. If I were to state a preference, it would be for combat over RP. And no preference on class type quite yet. I would like to try them all at least once.

When you say super early, what's the latest you could do on weekdays, and what do you think of text-only games?

That would be 1-2am EST start time depending on my work schedule, and only for 2-3 hours due to my sleep schedule. I figured that would be tough to fit that in, which is why I would prefer the weekends. I would like to say that is my preference, but without actually having played a game using that format yet, I can't give a for sure answer. (Video is certainly not an option since I have no equipment to support it)
