[LFG][5E] looking for a fun, relaxed game to join, preferably more RP/ character focused

Hello there! I am Roan (They/ Them). I have been playing for a about 2 years so far, entirely in 5e and largely in homebrew sessions. I also have been a DM for a session of my own making, and intend to be again. I know 5e very well, and while i am not opposed to learning other modules i am very comfortable with 5e, its rules, mechanics, and classes. I am a fairly RP and story focused player, and can play many different type of characters, be they serious and grave characters or simply the parties comic relief. I enjoy both. Whether i am the DM or the player i always try to do a voice for all my characters to try to bring them to life, and it is one of my favorite parts of the game (though maybe not yours depending). I am a likable person, or so i hope, and should be able to get along with most groups. Ideally for a session to play, i would like the following things... RP/ story focused. I am in no way opposed to combat, especially if it is involved in the story, but i am not looking for a wargame A fairly relaxed group. We should take the game and our DMs world seriously but it is after all a game so lets have fun 5E, while not opposed to other modules, it is my preference Homebrew worlds are loads of fun and i love building these worlds with our adventure LGBT+ friendly If you have any comments or questions feel free to leave them, otherwise I hope to find a new session to play in, and a good day to anyone who takes the time to read this!

If you're willing to play with a GM who's less experienced than you, I guess I'll plug my game xD I'm using an adventure module(Out of the Abyss) which is a bit more RP focused and has some delightfully eccentric characters that I'm going to fail at voicing. While combat is certainly going to come up, there are also a number of situations where you're better off just running and fighting probably isn't going to be your main source of exp. The campaign has some survival horror elements but it can also be a bit whimsical, so while the tone might get rather dark from time to time it should hopefully have some lighter moments as well. I am using a few homebrew mechanics to make 5e work a bit better from a survival standpoint; they're mostly relatively minor changes with the way inventory is handled being the biggest departure from vanilla 5e. The world will probably start out being fairly close to a vanilla D&D world, though it will probably deviate more and more as the campaign goes on due to my lack of knowledge about FR lore, the various changes I'm already making to the module, and PCs just being PCs. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing, but if you're willing to put up with me while I figure stuff out I'll do my best to run a game everyone can enjoy.
