Link to our listing ! Gangsters draw blood with poisoned blades and spill it onto the streets of Waterdeep. From their high towers secretive cults of devil worship look down on the city, and in the peripheral shadows, drow and unscrupulous wizards plot and scheme. At the center of it all, a gigantic hoard of gold, glittering somewhere in the dark. You. You're wrapped up in all of this too, alongside your friends, implicating your allies. The city streets are tense with adventure, slick with danger, and the question is whether or not you make it out of this alive, whole, and sane. Maybe with something interesting in your pocket. It all started with a missing person, when Volothamp Geddarm asked you to find his friend... Welcome to Waterdeep: Dragon Heist. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $15 per session via Paypal. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. My name is Ashley, and I am a Dungeon Master going on three years of experience. I currently run a weekly 5e homebrew game in the style of Critical Role, and am looking to broaden my horizons in bringing to life a fantastic module for a new group. I like to emphasize a synthesis of strong roleplay and improvisation alongside combat and puzzle-based encounters, and really dig deep into the world of a story to create an immersive experience for my players. This campaign will meet once a week on Thursdays at 6:00 PST/8:00 CST/9:00 PM EST. We play through Roll20.net, and require the use of Discord. Consistent attendance is critical to this narrative experience (although absences due to illness, sudden emergency or planned vacation are acceptable). We seek adventurers with strong roleplay skills and the ability to commit--and I in turn am committed to give you the best of myself to provide an engaging, unique experience for you and your character. It is my hope that you discuss what you’d like to do in-story, what you want to achieve and what you are interested in with both me the DM and your fellow players out of character during the week! It really helps take the collaborative and story element up a notch without taking away from the extemporaneous experience. I will not import pre-existing D&D characters into this campaign wholesale. A character’s context is extremely important. Bring to me an idea or a concept to flesh out with you so we can build a strong character together--or build something from scratch with me! This ensures that I the DM am as invested as you are right from the start, and that your character has a solid background within the world of the story. Out of character: All players are 18+. Colorful swearing is allowed. Racist, sexist and homophobic behavior, however, is not tolerated under any circumstances and will result in expulsion. In-character: Explicit love scenes are always fade to black in-game for the comfort of all players and the DM who has to narrate. If you have a question of what is and is not appropriate, always ask the DM before you do it in game. You will need Discord to play.
