I created this character for a game that didn't work out so am hoping to pick up another game where they would work out since I really liked their backstory. A rich man had two wives because the first wife kept having miscarriages mostly due to the fact that he beats his wife. The first wife was gentle and kind while the second wife has more of a fighters spirit. The two wives became close in their shared misery and eventually my character had enough and seeing that if she didnt act something bad might happen to the first wife killed the husband during intercourse. The husband had connections to the palacr and the king had just finished building his coliseum so after she was imprisoned for a time she got sent there. She did get pregnant from her little endeavor and an old Soldier at the Coliseum took pity on her and trained her. To Everyone's amazement she won her first battle and quickly became a fan favorite among thr poorer class. When the empress found out she was pregnant she took pity on her and allowed her to take a break to give birth to the child. When the child was born she gave it to the first wife to take care of and continue to fight in the Colosseum since she still had committed a crime. Eventually the emperor himself took an unhealthy interest in her losing her the empress's favor and so she found herself shipped out far from home to fight in the emperor's Army. she longs to go home to the first wife and her child but knows it can never be since her hands are stained in blood. The world she was supposed to go in was one where she died as a warrior and ended up in warriors heaven with the chance to fight way back to the mortal plain. I thought that worked best for her since she wouldn't have ever tried to get back thinking she needed to pay for her crimes but thinking if she got into warriors heaven it would show that gods were willing to forgive her. But I can work around that if I can find a game that I think would work with her. She could just a soldier with the longing to go home but knowing she never can but hoping there might be something she can do to redeem herself and regain her freedom. Thanks for the consideration.
