Someone to help me with a convertion

I got an idea for some characters I wanna play with... however they are in unisystem... I wish to convert them into d20... can anyone help me?
PLEASE?!
Roll20 as a virtual table top, is not something you really 'convert' a character into. You can setup attributes to use with macros and token actions but there's no import tool or direct correlation to a paper character sheet. Many many people just use paper character sheets outside of Roll20 and use it as a mapping and rolling tool rather than trying to full integrate them.
is not that... Roll20 is a virtual table top... but uses the mechanics of the game... however, I have a unysystem style character, and I wish to convert it to a d20 style... that's what I am asking for help with

Roll20 does not use any mechanics for any particular game system out of the box. Someone who wants to play Pathfinder, for instance, has to set Roll20 up with macros and page settings for it to run Pathfinder. This is no different from someone wanting to run Fiasco, Fate, D&D, Dark Heresy, Mechwarrior, etc. It's system agnostic. "Roll20" does not imply it was built for just d20 systems. It has tons of different dice rolling functions that cover, hopefully, most of the rolling needs for most RPG systems.
oh cool... is cause i have these characters from an anime I want to use as a character, but I was afraid I couldn't balance them for the setting
here is the link where I found them... <a href="https://app.box.com/s/0g3m4mb4u33f0l2lgnp6" rel="nofollow">https://app.box.com/s/0g3m4mb4u33f0l2lgnp6</a>
I'm uncertain that you're grasping what we're trying to explain. It's entirely possible we're not being entirely clear. Roll20 is just a shared screen that rolls dice for you. It's a tool no different than if you sat down at a table with some colored markers and a bag of dice... just on a computer monitor rather than a table. There's no character format or game system in Roll20 to convert your character to. You use Roll20 to share a screen and some drawings with other people, and tell Roll20 how many dice to roll depending on the particular game you're playing. It's just a tool, separate from any individual game mechanics your game uses, be regular six-sided dice, Fate/Fudge dice, Cards, whatever. If you're looking for help taking a character *concept* and working it into a different RPG game like Pathfinder or Shadowrun, that won't involve Roll20.
Ok, I believe there may be some confusion here. Let me try to straighten things out... First off, Charlie asked for help converting characters he's found online from the Fate system to a (the?) D20 system. This would require knowledge of both the Fate system and the D20 system, neither of which I'm familiar with so I can't help there. Then it looks like Mark G and Kristin were trying to explain to Charlie that Roll20 is a tabletop, not a game... there is no 'Roll20' system aside from whatever a GM creates. Roll20 is system agnostic; you cannot convert a character directly to it without going through a GM's game. So Charlie, what you need to do is: 1: Find a GM who is running a game system you want to play, presumably D20 but it could be any number of other game systems. Remember that this is distinct from running on Roll20; R20 is just the website, the GM will have to make his own character sheets (Journal Entries) for his game. 2: Converse with said GM about his/her game, and decide whether your characters would fit. If you are invited to play, go to step 3. 3: Work with the GM to set up your character's journal entry, using whatever system (s)he is using. This may require as little as plugging in a few basic statistics or as much as setting up a fully-formed journal with attributes, abilities, and macros. It depends entirely upon the GM and their style of game. 4: Enjoy. I hope that helps clear things up a little! -Phnord PS: What MarkG said!
thank you very much for clarifying this better than i did... I shall do so... maybe you can introduce me to a group? I am lookign to play like crazy... is been like an itch I haven't been able to scratch XD
Charlie, Hit up the looking for group forum for groups to play in. There are dozens of DMs and games in there.
