Hi all, I am an experienced DM, but new to running games on R20 and would like to give it a go. The idea is to run some classic modules using 2e AD&D and, if I enjoy them and people enjoy my style, grow it maybe into a proper campaign. The game would be set around the Free City of Greyhawk, though a version set into a homebrew world, as I want to use some elements of Mystara and Forgotten Realms in my world building. The characters would be level 1 to start and everyone would be a character that has recently arrived in the big city to join 'The Navigator's Guild', an up and coming organisation dedicated to uncovering lore and artefacts for fun and profit. On my style.. Well... I am a RP focused DM, though I def enjoy the combat element, and I tend to run in a theatre of the Mind style. I'm not really about running a skirmish level wargame. Players that find that appealing would do well, I think. Is there any interest in this? The aim would be to start playing in 2-3 weeks, depending on the uptake etc. As a final note, like I say... I am new to running in R20 so any players that want to join would need to take that into account. I will do as much homework as possible before the start, but some patience and good will shall probably be required. Feel free to meet me on Discord if you have any questions, I will PM the link to you on request, or just throw them out down here!
