I'm learning, and keep getting the bloody slots police warning. I've tried both the manual installation methods, and the one-click installation methods, neither is giving me any joy.  Might I have the wrong versions? Some things to check: Making sure you have the latest sheets and script from the github sources, copied from the Raw link. That you have run the Shaped config and updated the character in question to the latest sheet. That your character has spellcasting classes properly input, and has slots available. (Press Long Rest, to verify)
