Greetings adventurers! I'm an experienced GM looking for a change of pace from my regular D&D games and I thought I'd trot out an old favorite of mine, Night's Black Agents. Set in the present day, the game casts players as burned spies who have gone underground to fight a secret war against a global vampire conspiracy. If Jason Bourne had been fighting vampires instead of the CIA, you'd have gotten something very much like NBA. It's an easy to use system that prioritizes storytelling over mechanics, and anybody can pick up a character sheet and be playing confidently in five minutes. The campaign I have in mind is a relatively short one, running from eight to twelve game sessions, called The Zalozhniy Quartet. It showcases a lot of the strengths of the game: a strong sense of realism rooted in the use of actual locations and real historical figures, scenarios that reward creativity and outside of the box thinking, and using the incredibly weird true history of American and British clandestine services as the foundation for a (fictional) supernatural world. I'm seeking up to five players, 18+ years of age, able to attend Monday evening sessions for the duration of the campaign. Let me know if you're interested or have any questions about the game. Cheers!
