Hello! Wanna Play D&D with you friends??? With Strangers??? (I know your Mom told you not too, but...) Nobody wants to be the DM??? Why would they!? They'd have to be cool with: Lots of work. Tough decisions. Having to tell people "no". Killing their wife's PC and knowing you wont "get some" for a month. Becoming the friend in your circle that nobody likes any more. Don't loose a friend (or significant other)! Hire me! Then you can all learn to hate (and maybe fear) me! Together! Strengthening your bounds as friends! Without the risk of forming bad blood with your loved ones. Or not getting invited to holiday events anymore! I have been GM'ing since Before I needed to shave! Though I started DM'ing Dungeons and dragons when 5e first came out! So i don't come with that extra baggage of "Edition confusion" that plagues veterans of the D&D system. Nope you ain't gonna hear me call for a (non-existent) reflex save! or reference spells that don't exist (like, cure LITE wounds). I know the 5e rules inside and out! I know where they are strong, week, Awesome and where they are utter SHYTE. I prefer to DM for a group of 4 to 6 players though I am flexible. I would like to DM from a campaign book, but My style is to use the book as a starting point and flesh it out based on your characters actions, so don't worry about going off script! But for a sake of keeping things affordable (by keeping my prep time down) please choose a 5th Edition D&D campaign that is currently available for purchase on Roll20's marketplace (I will purchase any modals i don't already have). Voice Chat will be REQUIRED in order to play. The pricing will be based on the number of players and the planed length of the game. For each planed hour of play, the cost will be $3.75 per person for tables of 4 or more players. When setting the game up, you, the players, will determine length the game session, and the minimum number of players that are aloud to play (so that you can make sure, Timmy does not decide to play solo the day that the treasure hoard was supposed to get split up and everyone else could not make it, unless your good with that). Play time lost due to the DM or any of his equipment failing, will be credited to the next game or refunded upon request. the first session of a campaign (session zero) would be free to those that attend it, as it would include teaching (players that need it) the rules, and character building. discussing what kind of adventure we will be playing. I will not be offering a home-brew world built from scratch though. that takes FAR more time and I have not been charging for DM'ing services long enough to be able to figure out just how much a fair price would be. It will not be a "Pay to win" type game either. I will give you a full and honest challenge. But the way I DM is not as "the enemy of the player". My goal is to make sure you have fun! I will make enemies do what they honestly would do! if the means killing a Player's Character... then that may happen. It is not -my- goal, but the villains must act convincingly... If there is no threat of loosing a character, the drama, suspense, action and adrenaline become meaningless. Please contact me if your interested! I would love to guide you through a wonderful D&D adventure! Disclaimer: This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $3.75 per hour from each player, via PayPal or other services that is mutually agreed upon.
