In Burling City there is an area where the police no
longer dares to come. Its completely gang controled and the conditions
in that area have been described by the media as Post-Apocalyptic and
have dubbed it Apocalypse Village. In fact, in Burling City "Going to
the Village!" is just another way to say "Suicide!".
The Area around Apocalypse Village is referred to as the
Hot-Zone. Occasionally gang violence spills from Apocalypse Village to
the Hot Zone, which is still protected by the Police, but also suffers
from various levels of corruption and dispair.
Recently Children have been disappearing from their
bedrooms in the Hot Zone. No trace of forced entry and no evidence of a
struggle. even though the Police are taking a lot of heat from the
Media, the District Attorney and the Majors Office, they are still no
closer to solve these "Kidnappings".
It's up to you, a singular individual to tackle this problem,
but you can't do it alone. You need allies. Whether you and your allies
use Gadgets, Magic or Superhuman Abilities, it will take people of
exceptional spirit to succeed.
