Hi all, Basic info: I'm looking for a beginner friendly group that plays evenings (any day of the week ideally starting around 7 pm PST). I played AD&D as a kid (35 years ago) and have re-familiarized myself with the modern game (5e) but have a lot to learn. I'm friendly and laid back and am excited to have some fun! Please reach out if you want to help a newbie out... More info: I'm "mature" player (40's) with successful career and busy family life. I have grade school kids into playing make believe games who are showing interest in board games and RPG. I remember the joy and excitement of playing DnD as a kid and am looking forward to introducing my kids to that same experience...but, I have a lot to relearn before I can do that effectively. It is very hard these days to find entertainment that truly challenges your imagination with all the video games and CGI movies becoming so popular. It struck me that DnD would be a great way to rekindle the ability to use my imagination so I can play more meaningfully with my kids and have some fun of my own! Thanks for reading!
