After a quick search of the forum, I noticed that this has been reported a number of times but appears to have been ruled as user error. When a new post is created, particularly in the LFG Comments/Forum, it appears that the Follow this Thread defaults to being on for the poster which results in the user receiving duplicate messages for every response. The workaround for this is to go back in and turn off following but from a user experience standpoint it would be nice to have it fixed rather than having an extra step in the user process because the default functionality causes an error. Steps to Reproduce: Post a topic under the LFG Comments for a game. Have someone else respond to the the topic You will receive the response twice. Suggested Fixes: Set the Topic posts to not automatically be set to Follow for the poster Remove the reply response so that messages are only set if the poster is following the thread. <== A nice option to avoid Ressurection posts. Workaround: Open the Topic and click Stop Following This Thread.
