Dynamic Lighting Shouldn't Block Token Bars

If a PCs token is situated at the top of a room bordered by dynamic lighting, the token's bars should be layered above the darkness that borders the PCs sight-line. It's a simple workaround for the PCs to take a "temporary" step down to let other players see the bars, so this wouldn't be a great urgency, but would a nice adjustment.

This sounds more like a bug issue as that should not be blocked.

...and if anything this is a not-desirable feature for some of us.(perhaps a toggle) When somebody wanders off into the darkness with darkvision leaving all of his less-well-sighted buddies behind, there is nothing like the rising note of panic from his friends lacking the comfort of seeing his HP bar floating in the darkness.
You make a good point, Pat. Perhaps then a toggle as you suggest, or something like a “Reveal for X seconds”, if that wouldn’t be too complicated. You wouldn’t want to break that sensation you just described by seeing those green bars.
