Looking for players18 or older for game featuring adult content/themes

Hello! I've been playing various table top games for a long time now , about 15 years in fact, and have unfortunately run into a situation where I can no longer get together with my old group. I'm exploring the idea of running an adult themed d&d or Pathfinder game and thought I would create a post here to see who might be interested, and what people think in general about such games. My preferred age group is 18-30 years old as I fall into this group myself, but older players of course would still be considered. It's also worth noting that an adult setting in my world might touch on the Wilder side of the more chaotic evil creatures and characters, and therefore would not be recommended for players on the lookout for trigger warnings or who are unable or uncomfortable with some strong violent or sexual content. It's important to note that these themes are not so much intended to be the main focus of the setting or game, but are intended to be used for potentially realistic or dramatic consequences and content, as I have played through and hosted many more family friendly campaigns. Details as of now are undecided as I was hoping to work them out through those hoping to join. I would most likely be DM, but am open to participating as a player. My Time Zone: Pacific Standard, other details pending.

Hey there! I'm interested in playing in this group, I don't have any experience playing D&D but I do know the rules and how  to play I just haven't been able to find a group myself. I'm 22 in EST 

I'm 27 and in EST but depending on when you decide to play I'd be interested in playing. I have over a year's experience playing 5e through 2 campaigns. Do you have any more specifics about the game/ story?

Setting is Homebrew with custom lore and dieties from both d&d and Pathfinder settings as well as real world, more details to become available as a more solid idea of who will be in the group comes together. Most likely playtime's will be Friday or Saturday or both with a start time somewhere between 11am and 3pm Pacific time based on consistencies with other interested parties that have spoken with over PM, likely going for a couple hours. I am in EST but would potentially be interested, depending on timing. I have some experience with D&D going back to 3.5, but have never really been involved in a campaign that lasted very long. I am currently playing in a 5th ed f2f campaign that meets once a month, so I have a decent grasp of at least the basics of the ruleset. I tend to prefer more narrative/story telling focused games, rather than pure dungeoneering or hack and slash (though obviously that stuff is still important to have!).

i feel the same honestly. i'm very story, roleplay, and character driven and my old IRL party was very... obtuse about it lol. one player slept when out of combat and the others were too focused on silly details to enjoy the setting and story. EST is eastern right? so you'd be three hours ahead of my schedule which should put you between 2pm and 6pm start time with end times between ten and twelve pm. still doable?

i'd be interested but have a feeling my timezone doesnt fit well with yall. i would be fine playing 4pm CST to 6am cst, depending on the day (4pm cst was 1 hour 41 minutes ago when i post this.)

I'd say I'm interested, although maybe I'm a bit old (33/F) :P Time wise, I'm in the MST timezone, and I work fairly regular hours so ideally I could do later starts on Fridays, any time on Saturdays, and not-too-late games on Sundays (because I don't want to be sleep deprived at work on Monday mornings). Weekdays are generally not good unless it's a stat holiday. I'm familiar with D&D game mechanics, not with Pathfinder though (although I don't imagine it's hard to learn?) I've read my share of grimdark fantasy and mature/dark stuff doesn't really bother me, it can add a lot to a setting if done right.

I've read my share of grimdark fantasy and mature/dark stuff doesn't really bother me, it can add a lot to a setting if done right. lol i'm 29 so being outside the 18-30 "preference" isn't really problematic, especially when it's only a couple  years or so. pathfinder is very much like dnd 3.5, so it shouldnt be hard to learn at all if you're familiar with that system, but most people seem pretty interested or alright with a 5e game, so you may not need to worry there. i was hoping to play more often than just once a week, but if we end up only playing once a week i dont see too much problem figuring it out based on what you said. pm me if still interested based on this info and we can go over more.

Sounds interesting to me, I'm 25 and have experience with Pathfinder. Been doing 40k since I was 13 yrs old (played table-top) so mature content is something I'm used to. If anything I go out of my way looking for the dark and gritty stuff. I'm EST and I'm up for almost anytime really.

Howdy there! I would be really interested in this myself, as I'm 20 and find most games I can play while at college are a bit to soft for my taste. I've been roleplaying for years, but have about a year of experience playing 5e and about 4 sessions under my belt DMing. I'm also in CST and have no problem with really early/late games!
