dynamic tokens

No clue if something like this has been suggested, but I had what seems to be a pretty cool idea. Create a token object that allows multiple tokens to be associated with it, like showing a monster increasingly beat down & damaged. Then update the stat bars to allow them to change what token would be displayed when a certain stat threshold is crossed. This would allow the progressively damaged token to be shown to the players to visually display that the monster has taken noticeable damage, instead of displaying the stat bar for them to see how much relative damage it's taken. As a programmer, this seems simple in concept, but of course is probably a big change. Thanks, Black Cavalier

You can create a token with different sides now, but you have to change the sides manually. You just create a Rolltable token ( https://wiki.roll20.net/Collections#Creating_a_Rollable_Table_Token ). To have it change automatically as HP decreases or something you need a Pro level account and api access but that is also possible.
Thanks Spren, I didn't know that. Now I just have to find the artwork that shows monsters in different states of decline

No problem! Let me know if you find some great artwork that fits what you're looking. It's a really cool idea and I wouldn't mind doing that sort of thing myself.
