Hi everyone! I have played and DMed in D&D 5e for some time and I enjoy creating my own content. I have started constructing a homebrew campaign, and I'm looking for fun and dedicated players to make it come to life. My goal for the adeventures is to find a good balance between roleplay, combat and exploration. Not much is known of the
remote continent of Efrafa. The human race started establishing colonies on the
west side of the continent only 500 years ago. They settled peacefully on the
green pastures, and thus, leaving the mountains to the dwarves and the orcs,
and the southern forests to the elves, they managed to build a realm without
any major conflict between races. Between humans, however, it was another
story. A dispute began between the first and the second expedition leaders
appointed by the mainland government (which had financed the colonization),
each claiming their role as the main leader of the realm. After a century of
political quarrels, their heirs made a truce and divided the realm in two
kingdoms : Inle in the north, and Owsla in the south.
Aside from the human history
in the western part of Efrafa, little is known from the rest of the continent. The
central mountain range, inhabited by the dwarven civilization of Vilthuril,
splits the continent in two. Few expeditions made it to the east and back,
where lies the vast deserts of Ahrairah and the barren wastelands of Elil. Of
those hostile and mystic territories, mostly fables and legends are known. But for
an adventurer, talks of danger rings like an opportunity for riches and glory! I am not the most knowledgeable person about D&D, but I have read a lot and watched many videos to learn how to run a campaign. Both new players and veterans are welcome, as long as the new players show dedication toward learning the game and veterans show patience if things hit a bump. Nobody is perfect, but everything can be sorted out through discussion. I don't want evil characters, but criminals are fine. Just as long as you don't kill NPCs for no reason. We will find a common, stable time to run our sessions through a Doodle poll. I'm looking to play once a week, between 4-6 hours a session. My timezone is UTC-5, but I don't care about yours as long as you are punctual and don't choke for petty reasons. I only accept characters from the races and classes of the standard 5th edition. If you are interested, please submit ONE brief presentation of the character you'd like to play. No need for a full backstory yet, but I will ask for one when we start the campaign. Who's in?
