Player Timer to Prevent "Camping"

I'd really like to see a timer of some sort to prevent players from "camping" in a game room. I've had players forget about their characters and simply not exit the game room for up to 48 hrs at a time during which their characters are doing absolutely nothing. It could be set to something like 6 hours or so after which they are automatically bumped from the game room and logged out of Roll20. The way I see it is "camping" in this fashion artificially inflates a player's time on Roll20, it has the potential to open dangerous vulnerability holes to hackers and bots, it takes up bandwidth on the server unnecessarily, and it's just plain irritating.

After a certain amount of time with no activity, the play time stops counting, and the player's connection doesnt do anything, network-wise.  It's just irritating to the gm during prep. You can always bump the player out of the game during prep, though you'll need to re-send them a new invite code to let them back in.
Ah. I see. I had thought that the counter just went on running as long as the player was in-game. Thank you for the information that is not so. It is irritating during GM prep, but they should be locked into just the page the Players are on, right? I prefer not to bump players until they have not played for 2-3 sessions and then I'm fairly ruthless about it. Not playing? You're out as you're taking up a spot that a more interested and invested player could use. Sorry. Again, thank you for the information. I can worry less about that now and more about how my players are going to derail my carefully-planned adventures.  :)

That's right-- they will only see whatever page the Player ribbon is on.
Cool. We're done here then I think. All issues resolved and security re-established. You can close this thread as resolved or whatever, please.
