How to add a character -- can't figure it out :-/

Super basic question, here, from someone brand new to Roll20. I have created a game as GM, and also purchased the the D&D PHB compendium, which I thought I needed to do in order to get access to the character sheets and the "charactermancer." I've been doing my best to look around the site and all the features, but cannot for the life of me figure out how on Earth to simply add a character to the game. I have players who have accepted my invite to the game, and they show-up on the game's home page, but I am still not seeing how the addition of characters is accomplished.

The first thing I usually do is add a folder to the journal labeled "Player Characters". Once you have your folder in place, right click on that folder, and it will give you a list of options. Creating handouts and characters is on that list of options. Check out the wiki for more info: https://wiki.roll20.net/Journal

Click on the journals tab, that’s the one that looks like a newspaper icon on the right. There is a button called “add”. That will allow you to add a character. Note, you will not have a sheet if you have not defined one on your games setting and you will not have access to the charactermancer unless you have chosen a sheet that supports it, in your case the Roll20 5e D&D sheet. I would suggest going through the tutorial and checking out the wiki, but feel free to ask more questions if you need any assistance.
Thank you! I got it now. It seems a little crazy that I simply couldn't find the feature, to save my life. And I'm a software developer... :-P Not saying I'm the world's biggest UX/UI expert, but I'll tell you that the design can't be great when it takes that much effort to uncover what should be a very-much front-and-center feature. At any rate, though, I have it now and it looks great. Thank you for the assistance.
