I'm looking for roleplayers with 5e experience, age 25 and older for a long-term campaign in a homebrew setting. This won't be your usual game. You will be playing a divine-magic class or a monk.  We'll have plenty of time for combat and other traditional adventuring activities, but there will be times these take a back seat to your character's relationship with his faith and whatever internal conflicts that arise from it. You'll need to be prepared to explore other nontraditional adventuring styles, such as political intrigue or commerce. The mood of this campaign is serious, and you'll need to be able to handle mature topics dealing with the worst elements of the human condition, hence the age requirement, which is not negotiable.  You'll also need to be able to take this seriously enough to help support the overall mood. I see this campaign running up to 6 years, so you'll need to be able to commit to a long-term game. You'll also need to have experience with roleplaying, as well as a grasp of its nuances, for example, knowing when to roleplay your character to the hilt and when to summarize his interactions and let another player take the spotlight. You'll need to be able to flesh out a three-dimensional, living, breathing character with clear goals, weaknesses, hopes and fears. With all that said, if you are still interested in joining my game, send me a private message and convince me in four sentences or fewer what makes you my huckleberry.
