Hello all! My name is Lux and I am currently finishing up writing a good chunk of my Homebrew Campaign! The plan is for this to be a semi-long term campaign and go from there. Now let's get into the logistics: 1. About me I have never DM'd before. So all of my experience will be based upon the works of others. I have had good and bad DMs before and I hope I can be somewhere on the good side. A lot of my inspiration comes from Mathew Mercer for his story telling and world building. I want to share a story with y'all, not force you into a meaningless adventure. 2. What I am looking for - Since this is my first time I am not going to know all the rules, so people looking for that kind of game are out of luck. - I have created a world for for a story to be told. I don't want this campaign to be solely focused on combat or maximizing stats, Lets have fun more than anything. Create and tell me a story with your background! I want to see something longer than a 3 sentence background - New players are very welcome! I think D&D is a great game that everyone should have access to! Gatekeeping this game is just silly. So just like me, I am willing to take on new players so we can learn together. - Tolerant, patient, and mature players. If you have a problem with their race, gender, sexual preference, etc. then you and me have a problem. Also, your character can be arrogant and cocky but I want my players to be nice to each other outside of the game. - I don't care if your character has a voice or not. Everyone has a special voice and that is more than enough for me. - We will be using discord + roll20. Voice is required. 3. What's different? What can be used? - I have a set of house rules and guidelines in a Word Doc that I will give to all my players post interview. It will have all the information you need - I have all official 5E supplemental and rule books. Most of them are allowed. I am open to some homebrewed options but we will have to go over that. If you are still interested go ahead and pm with answers to the following questions (ps. First session is February 17th) : How old are you? What is D&D Experience? What is your preferred RP-to-Combat Ratio? Would you be willing to wait if someone else needs a hand? What is your D&D pet peeve OR what won't you tolerate? What is your roll20 experience?
